First birthday is a special occasion when the baby reaches an important milestone in her growth. Both mom and baby had stumbled upon many a time and successfully made this mark which is worth celebrating. As a new parent I wanted to make this occasion special and memorable. The Interview for Marriage

                              Passing the interview was an important part of the process that a girl needed to get through in order to get married in the olden days.  By ‘Interview’ I meant the practice wherein the guy and his family would pay a visit to the girl’s house with their check-list to check how many were getting satisfied by the girl so that she would be selected.  If she met most of them she would be considered selected and will be okayed for the marriage with certain conditions.  This practice still exists in our society subtly.
